He completed a diverse education background, including military training at Akabri Udara, Air Force Flight School, and advanced strategic institutions such as Lemhannas. During his career, he held notable roles such as Commander of Air Squadron 17, Commander of Air Operations Command I, and Director General of Defense Strategy at the Ministry of Defense. After retiring in 2007, he actively contributed outside the military as a pilot, flight instructor, and commissioner in various companies, including Mandala Airlines, Merpati Airlines, and PT Cardig Express Nusantara. He also served as a strategic advisor to the Ministry of Defense and several corporate boards.
