Minister of Trade Receives Audience from Jakarta International Arbitration Center

On Tuesday, August 5, 2025, Minister of Trade Budi Santoso welcomed a delegation from the Jakarta International Arbitration Center (JIAC) at the Ministry of Trade office in Jakarta. The meeting aimed to explore potential strategic collaborations between the Ministry and JIAC, particularly in promoting fair and transparent arbitration for trade dispute resolutions.

Established on August 16, 2024, under a decree from the Minister of Law and Human Rights, JIAC plays a pivotal role in facilitating the resolution of conflicts through arbitration mechanisms.

The Minister was accompanied by senior officials, including Secretary General Isy Karim and other key representatives from various directorates within the Ministry.
